You can’t think your way into a new life without first pausing and telling yourself the truth.
Some thoughts linger because they’ve never been questioned. It’s like they get put on a plaque for us to read over and over and over again. And soon, we believe it all, without thought, challenge, or question.
👉 “I’ve never measured up. Why should this be any different?”
👉 “Yep! These kinds of things always happen to me.”
👉 “What’s the point of starting? I never finish anything.”
Thoughts like these linger large, engraved on the Bruised, Beaten, and Buried Story Plaques in our minds. Thoughtful living invites us to replace what’s false with what’s true. This does not come through denial, but through discernment, honesty, and thought-care.
Truth steadies the mind and anchors the soul.
📖 Scripture:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32
ReThink Question:
What truth needs to be spoken louder than your fear, your pain, or your ongoing self-sabotage today?
📌 Truth creates freedom. And freedom… well, it lets you live and breathe and show up for yourself and others in WHOLE NEW WAYS.
📍 The Bottom Line:
“You don’t need better willpower. You need better soundtracks.” — Jon Acuff
