Yes, You can. Yes, You did. Yes, You will.

Yes, You can.

Yes, You did.

Yes, You will.

Days are funny. Not humorous, just funny. Some feel like faith is easy… like pouring a cup of coffee. Others, struggling… like somehow faith is a chore. And there are also days when it’s like riding on the high sea… up and down with a tempest of emotion and a tidal surge of circumstances.

But this is where the Gospel steadies us:

Yes, You can…

Nothing I face is bigger than the God who speaks, and it is; who holds galaxies in place.

Lord, my limits don’t limit You. My weakness doesn’t weaken You. What looks impossible to me is always and already possible to You.

Yes, You did…

I need only to look back. And, not that far… just far enough. The doors You opened when I didn’t even know enough to knock. The comfort that held me together when I ran out of strength. The mercies that met me before I asked. History glistens with the proof. Grace is the receipt.

Yes, You will…

Not because I deserve it. I don’t; but because Your character doesn’t change with my emotions or my circumstances. You are way ahead of me. You are already in tomorrow—

not frantic, not troubled, not scrambling, not surprised by what it holds; but, there You are… steady, wise, and faithfully preparing what I cannot yet see.

So today, I choose to breathe differently.

I choose to wait differently.

I choose to walk differently.

I choose to live differently.

No fear of what might be lost. No fear of what might happen. No fear of what I do not understand. Just a growing confidence. A

confidence in what cannot be taken—Your presence, Your promise, Your unfailing love.

Prayer:

Lord, anchor me in Your faithfulness. Thank You that You can, that You did, and that You will.

Help me live today with steady trust, eyes lifted, mind and heart at rest. Amen.
