TURN UP THE PRAISE

Are you down?

Struggling?

Overthinking?

Frozen?

Underthinking?

Drifting?

Hurting?

Glazed over with the seeming meaninglessness of life?

TURN UP THE PRAISE!

Praise is more than a song—it’s a shift. A re-centering of focus. A reframing of perspective. A holy reorientation of the soul. Praise is the moment you lift your eyes off what is wrong and fix them on the One who has never stopped being right, worthy, good, faithful, and true.

Praise is a sacred disrupter. Praise interrupts the spiral. Praise breaks up the fog. Praise calls your scattered spirit back to attention—back home. Praise is resistance in a world that can make you weary, wobbly, lonely, and silent.

When life presses down, praise pushes back… praise lifts up… praise lightens up.

Praise is not some kind of stick-your-head-in-the-sand theology. Praise doesn’t deny reality. Praise simply declares a greater reality. Praise doesn’t ignore pain… it invites God into the hurt. Praise doesn’t remove every storm… it reminds you who commands the wind and waves.

When you turn up the praise, something shifts:

🙌 Your thoughts realign. Suddenly, God is bigger than what was shrinking your faith or courage.

🙌 Your heart steadies. Fear loosens its grip; hope and provision breathe again.

🙌 Your soul remembers. You recall the God who carried you through the last crisis, mess, or misery. He did before. He will again and again. Last time’s memory become this time’s reality.

Praise is not a mood you wait for. It is not an emotion you emote. At its core, praise is a choice you make. A weapon you wield. A pathway you walk. Sometimes praise starts with words you can barely get out. Sometimes it feels forced… even fake, like “I don’t really feel this way.” Sometimes it’s lifted from tears instead of triumph. It’s okay. Turn it up anyway. Your obedience holds power.

So if you’re down… turn up the praise.

If you’re drifting… turn up the praise.

If you’re hurting… turn up the prasie.

If you feel numb, lost, or low… turn up the praise.

Turn it on. Turn it up. Turn it loud. Turn it toward the One who sees you, holds you, loves you, and sings over you. Praise may not change your situation… but, it changes you.
