And Still…
The morning light is dim.
I can’t see the path ahead…
And still… I trust You.
I don’t have the answers I thought I’d have by now…
And still… I believe You are working.
I feel the weight of yesterday’s disappointments pressing in…
And still… I will praise You.
Why?
Because “still” is not weakness—it is holy defiance. It is the stubborn stance of faith that says: “My eyes may not see it, my heart may not feel it, but my God has not changed—not wavered.”
This word still stands:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10
Today, my stillness isn’t passive—it’s rooted. It’s choosing, that no matter what, moment after moment, to stay planted in His presence and anchored in His promises.
And Still… Prayer:
Lord…
Some days I feel uncertain, unsettled, and frankly, undone. And still… I choose You. I choose to believe You are here, You are guiding, You are guarding, and You are good. Hold me steady in the middle of what I can’t yet see. May Your “And Still… Power” flood my mind and heart. In the name of The One who took “And Still…” to the Cross and the Grave… Amen.
And Still…
